My youngest daughter just left to go buy some new tires for her car and when I saw "Snow Tire" I imagined her tires and what she would get. But this is a perfect example of wheels when snow didn't matter. I do remember horses pulling wagons with iron wheels on them and sometimes in soft wet snow the wheels would get enough snow under them at the front that it stopped the wheel from rolling and the thing would slide like a ski. The horse didn't even seem to notice. I like your blog.

ReplyDeleteThis is the kind of thing that kept getting my family killed in The Oregon Trail!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful image. Love the ones of Bryce Canyon the other day too.
